Do you ever wonder where I get my post titles from? Well, I’ll tell you. When I’m not really coming up with anything, I turn to my husband and say, “What does this outfit look like?” and whatever he says is what I just go with. And so you have “bumblebee.”
I wore this snuggly outfit on a dreary Sunday before Christmas. My husband and I went out to breakfast at our favorite diner like usual, and then came home to meet our friends who were bringing their dog by for a doggie meet and greet with our three. We were going to be dogsitting Wylie, their basset hound mix, for a couple of weeks while they went on honeymoon (!) and we wanted to make sure all the dogs would get along.
After the dog meetup, I dashed down to the Mall at Columbia to snap up some Christmas gifts. These boots were great for mall shopping around Christmas. They’re fitflops, so they work you out a bit while you walk by forcing your leg muscles to be slightly more engaged. AND THEY ARE AWESOME. Seriously, awesome—and so warm that my toes never get cold, and they add much-needed practicality to my shoe wardrobe. My mother-in-law gave them to me after she bought herself a couple of pairs and fell in love. Remember how I’ve said she has great taste? Here’s the proof. You may never see me in another shoe.
