WORN
to dinner at The Orchard, to get our Christmas tree

November 27, 2010
We were only able to hold off decorating for Christmas until the weekend after Thanksgiving this year. What can I say, we LOVE Christmas in this house. I’d say it’s definitely my favorite holiday. I basically love everything about it, and I have to control myself from going overboard because I REALLY enjoy picking out gifts for everybody. Our house is lit up, our tree is decorated, and I even already have a couple of gifts wrapped and under the tree—but I still have a lot more to do yet—more shopping and baking!
This is what I wore to go get our Christmas tree. We didn’t have to chop it down ourselves, but I clearly dressed the part of a lumberjack regardless. Truthfully, I didn’t want to wear anything too nice to handle a tree I’m allergic to that’s oozing sap. (Yes, that is how much I love this season—I intentionally bring an allergic-reaction inducing plant into my house). So this is what won out—a plaid button-down, reliable classic Keds, and crazy old jeans. Not breaking any fashion ground here, but functional.
Have you decorated your Christmas tree yet? Do you get a real tree each year or decorate an artificial one?
